Stainless Ex Fermentation Tanks

3 off - Used 370 gal (1,680 litres) stainless steel open top storage tanks, originally used as beer fermentation tanks. Tanks measure 1,145 mm internal diameter x 1,670 mm. straight shell height with a flat bottom and white top plastic loose covers. Tanks are constructed from 2 mm. thick plate and the top is reinforced with a 25 mm. x 5 mm thick band.
Tanks have an internal coil of six loops of 10 mm O/D stainless steel tube, set approx. 65 mm from the tank wall, giving a cooling area of approx. 0.21 sq. mtrs, 2.27 sq. ft. An electrical temperature probe is located approx. half way within the shell and a digital readout meter is connected to the probe. Tanks are supported on 3 off - Stainless steel legs from 100 mm. x 50 mm. rectangular hollow section legs giving a clearance of 660 mm under the flat bottom.
Tanks are insulated with 25 mm. thick foam insulation to the bottom 1,230 mm of the shell and covered with a black plastic wrap.
Connections:
Outlet - 3/4" BSP elbow into horizontal, plus a ball valve.
Shell - 1/4" BSP test ball valve at bottom of shell.
Full Capacity 377 gal (1,715 litres).
