Agitation is provided by a 5.5 kW Crofts geared motor, frame size D112MD driving a slow speed 2 off - 2 bladed full sweep paddles shaped like arrow heads and joined together at their tips giving a final shaft output speed of 20 rpm. Manufactured from 3"square angle with the toes pointing down and the heel upwards. Shaft supported in a bottom footstep bearing.
